People ask me what do I do? I tell them “I am in the Civil Service with the State of California”. That is true, so why do I have a category called “Companies”.

Well after years of watching friends build their own ventures and helping them with their ventures, I figured its time for me to do what I have always dreamed of doing. I take Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison as my inspiration.

In 2004 I had started a small consulting gig called “Global Tree” while going to school in Sacramento. It did well, but ultimately I did not have time to pursue it full time. The myriad of laws and other issues (and laziness) left me from not Incorporating it. By the time I got around to doing so “Global Tree” was taken as an corporation in 2006 (by someone else). Needless to say I was disheartened and then finally after a lot of thought came up with “Global Tree Enterprises”. I had to change the structure of my company but in the end it works out better.

Over the years I have been involved in a lot of startup’s.  Vocatell, Speak With Me, eInfoPro among other are companies that I have helped out as an outsider. Never really getting too involved with day to day running. I worked for several startup’s in the great internet boom of the late 1990’s but reality is that most of those companies never went anywhere. My experience in running companies comes from recognizing where there is a need and how to fill it.

Global Tree Enterprises Inc is a holder company to Sustainable Ventures and other companies (not mentioned due to some work being done at this present moment). My ultimate goal for Global Tree Enterprises is to be a platform to launch other companies and spin them off as subsidiaries when the time comes. I am involved with every aspect of these companies and I must say it’s a lot of work!
